Whenever I have a cold for over three days I get to the point where I am willing to try anything just to get over it. This time was no exception. This particular beverage has a strong ginger flavor which helps to open up the sinuses. My husband said it reminded him of ginger beer. I was able to find all ingredients at my local grocery store except the super echinacea. I was able to find this ingredient at Whole Foods.

Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice
- 2 tsp. Honey or Light Agave Syrup
- 1 tsp. Finely Grated, Peeled Ginger
- 1/4 tsp. Super Echinacea Extract
- 1 Dash Cayenne Pepper
- 1 Cup Boiling Water
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a mug with 1 cup boiling water, stirring until honey is dissolved. Let sit for 1 minute before serving.
